Dr. Andrea Christina Issler-Fisher is a renowned expert in burn scar reconstruction with significant academic contributions. A graduate of the University of Zurich’s Faculty of Medicine in Switzerland, she furthered her expertise with an MD thesis in Burn Surgery at the same institution. She successfully undertook the EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) fellowship examination and completed her PhD in Reconstructive Burn Surgery at the University of Sydney. In 2015, she established the Burn Scar Clinic at Concord Hospital, introducing a pioneering treatment approach that garnered awards such as the NSW Premier’s Award for Improving Service Levels in Hospitals and the Anthea Kerr Award for Individual Excellence. Andrea's commitment has culminated in her role as the driving force behind Scarless - The Clinic, where she dedicates her expertise and time to transformative scar management.

Dr Oliver Fisher is a specialist Upper GI, Bariatric and General Surgeon. With prestigious training in Switzerland and Australia, he brings a wealth of expertise to Scarless - The Clinic. Embracing cutting-edge techniques in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, Oliver is adept at managing complex hernias, obesity and a variety of gastrointestinal cancers with precision and compassion. Backed by robust academic research including work on various scar treatments and a dedication to individualised patient care, Oliver ensures the highest standards of treatment and recovery for a diverse range of complex conditions. He strives for excellence in surgical care, where patient well-being is the heart of his practice. He provides a commitment to not only meet but exceed the highest expectations for surgical outcomes and patient care.

Dr Monique Bertinetti is a specialist paediatric surgeon with sub specialty interests in paediatric burn care and long term scar management.

Following elite fellowship training in both Sydney and Auckland, Monique was appointed as a staff specialist surgeon at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead where she established the paediatric burn scar clinic.

She brings a compassionate and holistic approach to paediatric patients and their families. She is adept at managing common paediatric surgical conditions including undescended testicles, inguinal and umbilical hernias, conditions requiring circumcision and management of skin lesions. Monique is currently an academic paediatric surgeon at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne where she continues to focus on translating evidence into better outcomes for children with burns. Monique is passionate about education and continues to maintain high standards with ongoing active involvement in the Australian and New Zealand Burns Association (ANZBA) and Australian and New Zealand Association of Paediatric Surgeons (ANZAPS).

Maria's career spans clinical rehabilitation, education and clinic leadership across Europe and Australia. She trained in physiotherapy in Spain (Diplomada en Fisioterapia, University of Murcia) and completed further training in respiratory and cardiovascular physiotherapy at Université Paris Descartes (Paris V). She then worked as a senior physiotherapist at the Cochin Hospital group in Paris, leading patient assessments, developing tailored rehabilitation plans and mentoring junior colleagues within multidisciplinary teams.

Maria brings extensive experience in LPG® Endermologie®. She trained clinicians internationally as an LPG Medical Endermologie Trainer in Paris, and has spent nearly a decade as an Expert Trainer for medical Endermologie across Australia and New Zealand, supporting clinicians in diverse healthcare settings. She has also owned and run her own Endermologie clinic in Queensland, giving her hands-on experience in clinic operations and in building systems that support consistent, high-quality care.

At Scarless – The Clinic, Maria works as part of the multimodal treatment approach, providing deep tissue scar release and lymphatic drainage, manually and with LPG® Endermologie® medical, for patients preparing for surgery, recovering from it, or living with scars that affect movement and comfort.

Karin Vogel is a passionate Occupational Therapist with more than 20 years of diverse clinical experience across a wide variety of health settings. Her career has involved working with people presenting with lymphoedema and highly complex physical, neurological, spinal, amputee, functional and psychosocial needs. She is committed to delivering person-centred, evidence-informed holistic care that supports independence, participation, safety and quality of life.

Karin recently joined Scarless – The Clinic, working with Dr Andrea Issler Fisher, A/Prof. Oliver Fisher and their team at East Sydney Private Hospital as a lymphatic therapist, accredited by the  Australian Lymphoedema Education, Research and Treatment Centre (ALERT) at Macquarie University. As part of the clinic's multimodal therapy approach, she treats people preparing for surgery, those in early recovery after surgery, and those experiencing pain, abnormal scars, burns, reduced movement or function, and lymphoedema. She utilises LPG® Endermologie® medical technology in her treatments.

Alongside her work at the clinic, Karin holds a specialist role in a large public hospital, where she supports the Spinal Rehabilitation and Spinal Pressure Care teams and contributes to a statewide consultative service, including clinical education, staff supervision, service development and the management of complex clinical presentations.

Throughout her career, Karin has worked with people living with stroke, spinal cord injury, multi-limb amputations, neurological conditions, complex wounds and pressure injuries, cognitive impairment, frailty and multiple comorbidities.
